Tutorial: Chiffon and Tulle Flowers

For our next tutorial, I've found a beautifully photographed how-to on making chiffon and tulle flowers. These are perfect to dress up a wedding, sew onto a blouse or even to attach to a pin back to wear on a hat, a blouse or adorn a purse!

Project Wedding presents the tutorial in a series of gorgeous photographs showing step by step how to make these delicate flowers.


"For this project you will need fabric - we used chiffon and tulle. Yardage needed will vary based on the number and size of flowers, as well as the fabric thickness. You'll also need a piece of paper, a pen, scissors, pins, needle and thread, glass seed beads, and a plain hair clip or comb." Easy!

Tutorial: Scrappy Fabric Strip Rose

I'm on a fabric flower roll!  Until I'm ready to start posting my own tutorials, I thought I'd share the tutorials I'm finding and using with the thousands people who are reading my blog. And a great big Thank You to both of you for stopping by!

This Scrappy Fabric Strip Rose tutorial from Cluck Cluck Sew is super easy and requires some strips of left over fabric, a basic sewing machine (the sewing is REALLY easy!), a needle and thread, a hot glue gun, a circle of felt, and a pin back.
